We are a traditional publishing company—small and growing, but absolutely traditional. Throughout the publishing process, we consider the wants and needs of our authors as individuals. Production, publishing, and some marketing of our clients’ books are handled by Colorful Crow Publishing.

Vickie McEntire
Owner. Publisher. Advocate.
Vickie McEntire is a 2018 Georgia Author of the Year Award winner and the proud owner of Colorful Crow Publishing.
Born and raised in a small town in Northwest Georgia, Vickie began her writing journey after her three children were grown, going on to publish works ranging from children’s books—including Little Bird and Myrtle Turtle and Baby Birds—to poetry, with her collection Empty Nest, and features in magazines and anthologies such as Chicken Soup for the Soul.
A member of the Society of Children’s Book Writers and Illustrators, the Georgia Writers Association, and Cartersville Area Writers, she has long been a passionate advocate for both readers and writers. When she acquired Colorful Crow Publishing in 2024, it was a natural fit—because at the heart of everything she does is a deep belief in helping others succeed and reach their dreams of publication.
Vickie lives in Northwest Georgia with her husband, Dave.
